Project management is pivotal in the construction process from initial planning to final handover. This strategic position is most efficient when part of the client organization as allowing to operate as the client and should be appointed as soon as possible in the development of the project to ensure that correct structure and system are in place from the outset.
The role focuses on delivering projects on time, within budget and to the expected quality. It requires planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all resources and stakeholders involved, including clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to achieve project goals.
